Plywood machinery, as a key piece of equipment in artificial board production lines, requires standardized operation to directly impact product quality, equipment lifespan, and production safety. While various types of equipment differ in structure, principle, and process flow, they all require adherence to rigorous procedures and unified guidelines at the operational level to achieve efficient, stable, and safe operation.
Pre-startup preparation is fundamental to ensuring smooth subsequent operations. Operators should check each item according to the equipment inspection checklist, including the security of power connections, the oil level and quality of the lubrication system, the integrity of transmission component protective covers, and the functionality of all control buttons and emergency stop switches. For equipment requiring preheating or temperature adjustment, such as hot presses and glue spreaders, the temperature control system should be started in advance according to process requirements, and feeding should only begin after the temperature reaches the set range and stabilizes. Simultaneously, the work area should be cleared of debris, and the raw material specifications should be checked against the equipment parameters to prevent problems such as material blockage or roller sticking due to incorrect dimensions or excessive moisture content.
Operation during the running process must adhere to the principle of stable control. During startup, the equipment's set low-speed acceleration curve should be followed, gradually loading to the rated operating condition to prevent instantaneous impact damage to the transmission mechanism. During continuous operation, operators should regularly inspect the readings of key instruments such as pressure gauges, thermometers, and flow meters, and stop the machine immediately to investigate any abnormal fluctuations. In the gluing process, attention should be paid to the real-time adjustment of glue viscosity and application amount to ensure a uniform glue layer and economical use; in the hot pressing process, attention should be paid to the sequence of board feeding and the timing of closure to prevent localized poor bonding or board warping due to misalignment. For finishing equipment such as edge trimming and sanding machines, the tool or sanding belt position should be finely adjusted according to the actual thickness of the board to maintain the flatness and dimensional accuracy of the processed surface.
Shutdown procedures are equally important. Feeding should be stopped first, and the equipment should be allowed to run idle for a suitable period to allow residual materials or heat to dissipate. Then, the heating, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems should be shut down according to procedures, and finally, the power supply should be cut off. Lubrication should be applied to the necessary parts after shutdown, and parts prone to dust accumulation and residual glue should be cleaned to prevent hardening from affecting subsequent use. Operating records should be completed thoroughly, including operating parameters, abnormal phenomena, and corrective actions, to provide a basis for subsequent maintenance.
Overall, the operating method for plywood machinery emphasizes thorough preparation, controlled processes, and standardized procedures for completion, and requires operators to possess the necessary skills and safety awareness. Only by combining standardized procedures with on-site judgment can the equipment's efficiency be maximized and the continuity of production and product consistency be ensured.
